The KESC has been organized a wide variety of self-learning activities and workshops regularly, which facilitate members to enhance their self-learning and life-long learning abilities.

Skills Workshops / Seminars

A wide range of skills training workshops / seminars with different themes are being provided to enhance the member’s job-related skills and self confidence, such as computer applications, vocational languages, personal development, job seeking techniques and job market and course information.

Study Groups

The Study Groups are organized regularly (normally three months for each group) with different study subjects, including “The Application of the Internet”, The Application of the Microsoft Office”, “Cang-jie’s Input Method”, “FrontPage Design”, “Putonghua Learning” and “English Learning”. The group members will set up their learning objectives and planning under the guidance of a group leader. Not only mastering the knowledge and skills of the particular subjects through learning and encouraging from each other, the Study Groups can also helped them to improve their self-learning motivation and confidence, build up mutual support and exchange encouragement among members.

Self-learning Award Scheme
The EKTRC has introduced the “Self-learning Award Scheme” to encourage the users to use our facilities and services for self-enhancement. The Self-learning Award aims at praising members who participate the self-learning activities proactively and promoting life-long learning through experience sharing.
